Shakkazombie – It’s Okay feat. Dabo

Shakkazombie is a Japanese rap group consisting of three members (MC Osumi, Tsutchie, and MC Hide-Bowie). They formed in 1994 when Tsutchie joined Osumi and Hide-Bowie who were already making music at the time and released their first single “ShakkAttack” in 95. They are credited for introducing many up and coming artists in their collaborations.

Clammbon – Folklore

Clammbon is a Japanese musical trio, consisting of vocalist/keyboardist Ikuko Harada, bassist Mito and drummer Itou Daisuke. The group, originally formed in 1996 when the three were students at Tokyo Music and Media Arts Shogi,made their major label debut on Warner Music Japan three years later. Their music is characterized by their quirky sound combining jazzy chord progressions with J-Pop and electronica influences. The name Clammbon is taken from a fictional character in a short story by Kenji Miyazawa

eX-Girl – Tofu Song

eX-Girl is a Japanese female pop trio. They claim to hail from the planet Kero Kero. They are described as psychedelic, space rock, jazz fusion, jagged alternating vocal harmonies, sugary synthesiser pop, punk, prog, epic/atmospheric, noise-rock, wavering 3 part a capella, borderline operatic vocals, often in the space of a single song. Live performances are known to include home-made costume during the show, synchronised robot dancing and frog-related items.

Ali Project – Yuukyou Seishunka

Ali Project is a Japanese band with a strong Japanese Aristocrat-style image, consisting of Arika Takarano (vocals & lyrics) and Mikiya Katakura (music & arrangement). The band is notable in the anime community for having their songs featured in several anime opening and ending sequences, most notably in the series Noir, Rozen Maiden, and Code Geass.
